I've heard the line ices up pretty bad in cold weather, but other than issue people seem to like the line very much.

I have not tried the sharkskin lines, but this is not a new concept. Berkley had a similar type line out in the 70's. Touted the same things, extra distance etc. Ripped your fingers up the same way sharkskin does. Didn't stay on the market for very long. Worth the extra bucks? It wouldn't be for me, thats why I haven't purchased one-been there... done that. It might be for some, though.

Right on. Wish I could join ya in Chile !!

Got the new house...been stripping wall paper, getting ready to paint, install hardwood, new vanities, etc..... etc.... neverending projects.

Heading to Maui to tie the knot in May...then chase some bones in Oahu for 4 days before resuming life in Cali. Get this...and this is all her......we're planning our wedding around the tides and moon phase cuz she wants to chase bones !!

Goin to AK for 5 weeks (mid-June to late-July) to train a bunch of guides and explore/research a 'new' river way out in BFE. The river is smaller, and they got lots and lots of big kings with sea lice on 'em, and char and 'bows that have never seen a mouse fly! (and steelies!!!) Should be a killer short AK season. Lucky the wife let me split for 5 weeks....a month after the "I do's " !!!

Hope to fish w/ ya in March for the caddis melee....or at least share a cold one !
B is good....we're tryin' to sneak in some trips west between storms, but not too much luck so far. Snowing/slushing in Rdg. this a.m.
